Nagios XI could allow a remote authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by insecure file permissions on the /usr/local/nagios/bin/npcd component. By using a specially crafted script, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges on the system.
