DESCRIPTION
KiCad EDA is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Gerber Viewer gerber and excellon GCode/Dcode parsing functionality. By using a specially crafted file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
