Apereo CAS could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by improper validating X509 certificates. By sending a specially crafted X509 client certificate, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain the credentials for LDAP authentication, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
