Cisco IOS XR Software could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by incorrect destination address range encoding in the classic access control list (ACL) compression feature. By sending traffic, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass the configured ACL protections on the affected device.
