AWS SDK for PHP could allow a local authenticated attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by improper validation of user request by the buildEndpoint method in the RestSerializer component. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing “dot dot” sequences (/../) to access arbitrary objects on the system.
