AMD Ryzen, Gen AMD EPYC Processors could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the improper handling of an instruction called ‘vzeroupper’ during speculative execution. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive data, such as passwords and encryption keys, at a rate of 30KB/sec from each CPU core.
