Broadcom Symantec Identity Manager is vulnerable to HTTP response splitting attacks. By sending a specially crafted HTTP response containing CRLF character sequences, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the server to return a split response, once the URL is clicked. This would allow the attacker to conduct various attacks against the vulnerable system, including cross-site scripting, cache poisoning or session hijacking.
