cilium-cli could allow a remote authenticated attacker within the local network to bypass security restrictions, caused by the failure to enforce user permissions on the etcd store used to mirror local cluster information to remote clusters. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to overwrite settings specified by the initContainer that configures etcd users and their permissions.
