DESCRIPTION
Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper guest restrictions in the Next Generation Input/Output (NGIO) feature. By sending a specially-crafted API call from a VM that will execute with root-level privileges on the NFVIS host, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to compromise the NFVIS host completely.
