Cisco IOS XE Software could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper handling of error conditions when a successfully authorized device administrator updates an IPv4 ACL using the NETCONF or RESTCONF protocol. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access resources.
