DESCRIPTION
Cisco IOS XR Software for ASR 9000 Series Routers is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the incorrect handling of malformed packets in the data plane microcode of Lightspeed-Plus line cards. By sending a specially-crafted IPv4 or IPv6 packet, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the Lightspeed-Plus line card to reset.
