DESCRIPTION
D-Link DIR-867, D-Link DIR-878, and D-Link DIR-882-US is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the lighttpd service. By sending an overly long argument, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system in the context of root.
