Dell PowerProtect DD could allow a local authenticated attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing “dot dot” sequences (/../) to gain unauthorized read and write access to the OS files stored on the server filesystem, with the privileges of the running application.
