DESCRIPTION
Emerson DeltaV could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by using a deterministic insecure algorithm in its challenge-response authentication. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass access restrictions to access privileged operations in the maintenance interface.
