Extreme Network IQ Engine is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the implementation of the CAPWAP protocol. By sending a specially crafted request, a remote authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and obtain elevated privileges to conduct remote code execution.
