FreeBSD could allow a local authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a flaw with CPU 0 the check for the SMCCC workaround is called before SMCCC support has been initialized. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass speculative execution protections.
