DESCRIPTION
FreeSWITCH Sofia-SIP is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the sdp_parse function. By sending a specially-crafted sdp message, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code or cause a crash on the system.
