DESCRIPTION
GNU glibc is vulnerable to an off-by-one buffer overflow and underflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the getcwd() function. By sending a specially-crafted request, a local authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
