GNU grub2 could allow a physical to obtain sensitive information, caused by an out-of-bounds read flaw in grub-core/fs/ntfs.c. By using a specially crafted NTFS file system image, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read arbitrary memory locations, and use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
