Kofax Power PDF is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the parsing of BMP files. By persuading a victim to open a specially crafted BMP file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
