Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by uncontrolled resource consumption in the Document and Media widget when generating preview images. By using a specially crafted PNG file, a remote authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
