Linux Kernel is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a flaw in the vringh_kiov_advance function in drivers/vhost/vringh.c in the host side of a virtio ring. By sending a specially crafted request, a local authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service condition.
