NVIDIA baseboard management controller is vulnerable to buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) handler. By sending a specially crafted request, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash.
