OpRussia update: Anonymous breached other organizations
Another week has passed and Anonymous has hacked other Russian companies and leaked their data via DDoSecrets.
The #OpRussia launched by Anonymous on Russia after the criminal invasion of Ukraine continues, the collective claims to have hacked multiple organizations and government entities. The hacktivists leaked the stolen data via DDoSecrets. Below is the list of organizations breached this week by Anonymous:
- SOCAR Energoresource operates the Antipinsky Refinery and several oilfields. The company works directly with major Russian energy and oil companies, including Gazprom, Rosneft and Lukoil and is partially owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR). The collective has released a 130 GB archive via DDoSecrets that contains nearly 116,500 emails.
- Achinsk City Government. The collective has stolen over 7,000 emails from the Achinsk city government and leaked an 8.5GB archive via DDoSecrets.
- Polar Branch of the Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography is a Russian organization that determines the total allowable catch of different forms of commercial sea life. The hackers leaked 466 GB of emails from the organization. The source of the leak is the group of hackers named B00daMooda who supports Ukraine.
- Port and Railway Projects Service of JSC UMMC operates the two largest ports in Russia specializing in coal shipments. These ports have maximized their cargo turnover through cooperation with JSC Russian Railways which delivers coal from the mining sites to the ports. Coal shipments from these ports go to more than 30 countries including South Korea, Japan, China, Norway, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Finland, Brazil, Israel, and Turkey. The collective has released a 106 GB archive via DDoSecrets that contains nearly 77,500 emails.
