Ovarro TBox RTUs could allow a remote authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper privilege validation when running user defined configuration scripts. By sending a specially crafted request using a local OpenVPN server, an authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges to root.
