PDM could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper input validation. By persuading a victim to use a specially crafted pdm.lock file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to allow an insider or a malicious open source project to appear to depend on a trusted PyPI project.
