Phoenix Technologies Windows kernel driver could allow a local authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper access control on IOCTL in the TdkLib64.sys driver file. By sending a specially crafted IOCTL request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to erase or alter the firmware.
