South River Technologies Titan MFT and Titan SFTP servers could allow a remote authenticated attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by insufficient path validation when extracting a zip archive. By uploading a .zip file containing a filename such as ../../file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to write a file to any location on the filesystem and gain remote access to the target host.
