South River Technologies Titan MFT and Titan SFTP servers could allow a remote authenticated attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by insufficient path validation when writing a file via WebDAV. By using the FTP protocol, an attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing “dot dot” sequences (/../) to access files outside the users home directory.
