Splunk Enterprise and Cloud Platform could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. By sending a specially-crafted request using the pivot search processing language (SPL) command, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass authentication and obtain access.
