Supermicro X11, X12, X13, and H11, H12, H13 motherboards could allow a local authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a stack-based buffer overflow in the BIOS firmware. By sending a specially crafted request, an authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges and execute arbitrary code on the system.
