X.Org server is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the DeviceFocusEvent and ProcXIQueryPointer. By passing an invalid array index to DeviceFocusEvent or ProcXIQueryPointer, a local authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
