ZBar is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the qr_reader_match_centers function. By persuading a victim to scan a specially crafted QR code, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code or obtain sensitive information.
